Raveena is a Senior Associate and part of the Corporate Commercial team. She specializes in labour and employment laws, data privacy laws, corporate commercial laws and mergers and acquisitions.
She has extensive experience in handling complex labour and employment issues related tot he transfer of employees, planning compensation structures, contract labour management, POSH complaints and hiring, retaining, managing and terminating employees in India. She has assisted both domestic as well as MNCs in large scale employee exits and employee transitions in M&A deals and also provides robust day-to-day legal advice on various legal and regulatory issues in her practice areas. She has advised companies in disciplinary matters,investigations and inquiries relating to employee misconduct, sexual harassment and ethical violations. Additionally, she has drafted and vetted all kinds of employment documentation and has been a part of various due diligence and legal audits.
She also specialises in data protection laws and has experience in advising on issues related to compliance requirements under the Indian data protection laws. She possesses in-depth understanding of the changes proposed in data protection laws in India.
